Air Lift Casters
After a few experiences using Air Lift Casters on previous shows we had some base knowledge going into it.
This set is similar to the air lifts we use on a normal wagon unit. However these cost $800 a piece and we had none on hand. The DIY version of these we have used in the past could not accept the rating needed for this unit so we pivoted towards Pistons

Our first piston attempt with ones we had instock. we learned it needed a wider cylinder to take the rating required and its mounting to the wood allowed for to much deflection.

I called the manufacturer of the piston and learned a bit more about how they worked, and found a chart calculating rating for size of canister and shaft.

we ended up getting a 2 1/2" cylinder with a 3/4" shaft.
